How the program works

Step 1: Schedule Assessment

Call and schedule an initial home energy assessment with a licensed Registered Energy Advisor.

A great advisor that we know and trust is:

Step 2: Receive Assessment

Upon completion of the assessment, the energy auditor will provide a custom report with important information about your home and upgrades they would recommend.

Step 3: Green Upgrades

Complete at least one eligible upgrade. These upgrades can include items such as heat pumps, insulation, windows and doors or more.

Step 4: Follow-up Assessment

Schedule a follow-up home energy assessment. This will determine the improvements done to your home and ensure compliancy within the rules of the program.

Step 5: Get Paid

Receive your rebate cheque, including up to $600 for the assessments and an additional $1,500 if you're a new or existing Enbridge customer.

Many Ontario Residents are Eligible

Grant funding through the Canada Greener Homes Grant is being offered across the country to all eligible Canadians. The co-delivery of this program through the HER+ in Ontario will allow eligible homeowners to access the benefits of both programs through a single application and streamlined process regardless of their home heating fuel type.
